Nursing Lunch and Learn webinar

Details to follow but we hope you can join us for the first in a new series of nursing lunch and learn events.

The series will be designed and developed to support healthcare professionals who are at the beginning of their career, to introduce genomics in healthcare.  The series title will be ‘Genomic Red Flags throughout the lifespan’.

An overview of the first session on the 20th May is currently as follows:

Introduction to Genomics and Genetics in healthcare

  • Basic principles of genomics and genetics
  • Introduction to the Genomic Medicine Service (GMS) and the L&L series
  • Application of genomics in healthcare with examples
  • Introduction to resources available (GeNotes), GEP etc
