NHS Long Term Plan (LTP): halfway through the journey
Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance is holding a conference on 18 March 2024, at The Spine, in Liverpool to discuss progress towards the LTP’s 2028 targets for cancer – and share how its vision can be met.

The conference includes morning and afternoon breakout sessions, and the NW GMSA are presenting a session, on the topic of: Embedding genomics into cancer pathways. The session will be an opportunity to:
- Hear about our programmes supporting cancer professionals and patients including:
- Mainstreaming of the Lynch Syndrome pathway through cancer nurse specialists.
- The development of the National Lung Cancer Pathway and discuss how it applies in Cheshire & Merseyside.
- Tell us how the NW GMSA can support MDTs and cancer professionals to use genomic testing to inform patient care.
- Learn about genomic educational resources to support you and your patients.
